Limited Quantity Placards

IMDG Code Part 3.4.5.5.1 - Cargo transport units (shipping containers) containing dangerous goods packed in limited quantities with no other dangerous goods....shall be suitably marked on the exterior with the [limited quantity mark] in 3.4.5.5.4. IMDG Code Part 3.4.5.5.2 - Cargo transport units containing dangerous goods and dangerous goods in limited quantities shall be placarded and marked according to the provisions applicable to the dangerous goods which are not packed in limited quantities. However, if no placard or mark is required for the dangerous goods not packed in limited quantities, the cargo transport units shall be marked with the [limited quantity mark] in 3.4.5.5.4 Limited quantity placards - applied to CTUs - are required to be a minimum of 250 mm x 250 mm. The limited quantity mark - applied to packages - is required to be a minimum of 100 mm x 100 mm. If the size of the package requires, the dimensions may be reduced to not less than 50 mm x 50 mm (more info here).
