Boston Round Glass Bottles
Our Boston Round glass bottles are heavy-walled, narrow-neck containers designed for laboratory, chemical, and general-purpose liquid packaging. Available in 16 oz. (473 mL) and 32 oz. (946 mL) sizes in amber and flint (clear) glass, they provide durability, chemical resistance, reliable sealing, and professional presentation.

Glass is virtually inert and impermeable, offering excellent chemical resistance and compatibility with contents. Amber glass provides UV protection for light-sensitive products whereas Flint (clear) glass provides excellent product visibility. Our black phenolic caps are fitted with a polyseal cone liner for a positive, leak-resistant seal.
These bottles are also ideal for use as inner packaging in dangerous goods shipments when plastic or metal are prohibited. When properly assembled with appropriate cushioning, absorbent material, and our UN-certified 4GV or 4G UN Boxes, they can be used for applicable ground and marine dangerous goods shipments, subject to TDG, 49 CFR, IMDG, and applicable packing requirements. For applicable IATA DGR air shipments, additionally heat seal the bottles into our 95 kPa Bags to satisfy the IATA supplementary packaging requirement (IATA 5.0.2.9.4).

Our largest amber boston round bottle. Amber glass blocks UV light to protect light-sensitive liquids such as essential oils, peroxides, reagents, tinctures and sample retains. This 946mL glass bottle is used as an inner packaging inside a UN certified 4G or 4GV box, with absorbent and cushioning as required by the applicable TDG, 49 CFR, IATA or IMDG packing instruction. Each bottle ships with a black phenolic screw cap and polyseal cone liner โ the cone seats down inside the bottle neck to give a positive, chemical-resistant seal on liquid contents.

Replacement and spare boston bottle lids for our boston round glass bottles. The polyseal cone liner seats down into the bottle neck rather than sealing only on the rim, giving a reliable, chemical-resistant seal on solvents and aggressive liquids where a flat wadded liner can fail. Order the 28/400 phenolic cap for 16 oz. bottles and the 33/400 phenolic cap for 32 oz. bottles.
